Description
The ROCKSTEAD RIN-ZDP is one of the gentleman's knives from ROCKSTEAD alongside the SHU, RYO and NEHAN models.
Like the RYO, the RIN features the concealed clip system developed by ROCKSTEAD. The ability to conceal the movable clip in the handle greatly improves the hand position when cutting. The elaborate, internal construction is extremely robust, ensures smooth movement of the clip and fixes it in its respective end positions.
The design of the ebonite handles is reminiscent of a traditional Japanese woodworking technique ("NAGURI"), which is mainly used for working on floors and walls.
Like all ROCKSTEAD gentleman's knives, the RIN is produced exclusively with ZDP-189 blade steel and features the well-known, extremely robust button lock.
The handle of the ROCKSTEAD RIN is ergonomically shaped to support the handling of this gentleman's knife.
